On September 26th, the Norwegian Data Protection Commission, a committee of experts on data practices and related challenges in Norway, published a 245 page-report evaluating the State of the Art on Data Protection. The document is meant to orient and shape data policies in Norway. Kaufmann served as a consultant to the commission, focusing on police and forensic use, which directly informed the section on the report’s use of technology in the justice sector.
