In August, Stefano attended the DNA28 conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to meet with leading researchers in the field of molecular computing. The studies presented ranged from models of molecular interactions to experimentations with DNA origami, a technique of folding DNA molecules into intricate nanostructures. All projects underlined the incredible programmability and relative predictability of DNA molecules which makes it such an appealing material for information storage and processing.
